‘Invite loads of BME Women and non-binary people!! Also, if you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME just cos i invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only.’
Are there "loads"of binary people at Goldsmiths? (In case you're wondering what a "binary" person is, it's someone who can't quite decide whether they're male or female. Here's a tip: when you wake up in the morning, reach under the duvet and check whether you have a penis. That should settle the issue.)
Ms Mustafa also tweeted #killallwhitemen and used the charming phrase “white trash”. But that’s okay, because, as she later explained, being an ethnic minority woman means she can’t be racist. Of course, if she’d been a white woman and had tweeted #killallblackmen and had used the phrase “black trash”, she’d probably be in prison by now. But, because she isn’t white, Bahar has clung onto her job. Being a person of colour (as we white folk now have to say) evidently means never having to say you’re sorry, and also means you get to keep your job no matter how stupid, insensitive, insulting and racist you are. Glad we’ve cleared that one up.
A similar example of cultural Marxist lunacy was on display earlier this week when a High Court judge, Mrs. Justice Pauffley, made the following illuminating comments in a case where an Indian man had been accused of beating his wife and son:
"I do not believe there was punitively harsh treatment of [the boy] of the kind that would merit the term physical abuse… Proper allowance must be made for what is, almost certainly, a different cultural context… Within many communities newly arrived in this country, children are slapped and hit for misbehaviour in a way which at first excites the interest of child protection professionals."The principle of equality before the Law is possibly the British people's most precious inheritance. Yes, that sounds pompous, but it happens to be true. That principle has now evidently been jettisoned. Of course, we are all still equal – but newly-arrived immigrants and ethnic women are apparently more equal than others.
There should be no “cultural context” when it comes to the law. For God’s sake, we’ll be excusing honour killings and female genital mutilation and murdering gays next! When did we become so unutterably, drippingly, spinelessly wet?
Finally, Nobel laureate Tim Hunt, a biochemist at University College London, earlier this week indulged in the following vile, hate-filled rant: “Let me tell you about my trouble with girls … three things happen when they are in the lab … You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you and when you criticise them, they cry.” Wow! Is he even human? Does he deserve to live? I mean, he’s, like, worse than Hitler, yeah?
Connie St Louis, who directs the science journalism program at City University, London, and attended the conference in South Korea where Tim Hunt was speaking, commented: “Really, does this Nobel laureate think we are still in Victorian times?” No, dear – but this very distinguished 72-year old scientist made the mistake of imagining that this is still a country largely composed of rational, tolerant people with a strong sense of humour, who are able to make slightly risqué tongue-in-cheek remarks without the risk of being savaged by hordes of demented, intolerant, irrational, self-important, virtue-signalling harpies and their testosterone-deficient pseudo-male supporters.
Tim Hunt resigned this morning. Well done, Connie!
I'll break off now, because I have to visit our local Muslim baker to order a cake with the words "Gay marriage rocks" on it. If they refuse my order, I shall writhe around on the floor howling and screaming until the police arrive and arrest them. As if.
